Welcome to the website for the Scottish Society of Jersey.
The Scottish Society of Jersey (the SSJ) is based in Jersey in the Channel Islands. We aims to promote social and friendly contact amongst our members and to encourage the preservation of the history, folklore, language, literature and music of Scotland. We organize a range of activities and functions throughout the year including traditional events for St Andrew's, Hogmanay and Burns' Night.

Members and their guests are invited to the Hotel de France on 28th January 2012 to celebrate the birthday of Robert Burns at our annual Burns Dinner and Dance. We will be joined by The Jersey Pipe Band, the Mary Walledge Dancers, and the dancing will be led by the Caeserean Ceilidh Band.
Gentlemen should 'hold the date' for the Gentlemens Stag Burns Supper which is be held on 25th February 2012 and the ladies should be marking their diaries with the date of the Ladies Only Burns Supper which will be held at the Petit Pomme on 3rd March 2012.
